Looking for something fun to do this weekend around the Chicago suburbs? We’ve rounded up the best local events happening July 4-6 — including fireworks, farmers markets, food events, and a whole lot of fun.

FRIDAY

JULY 4

AURORA:

Fourth of July Parade starts at 10AM.

BATAVIA:

Event at the Engstrom Family Park. Begins at 5PM with Food Vendors, from pizza, cotton candy, shave ice, Jimmy Johns, and much more! A live concert from the Batavia Community Band at 8:30PM, with a Firework Show at 9:30PM-10PM : News Flash • Fourth of July Fireworks Friday

BOLINGBROOK:

CRYSTAL LAKE:

AURORA:

Aurora Farmers Market on 65 S. Water St. at 8AM-12PM every Saturday. Aurora Farmers Market | City of Aurora, IL

NAPERVILLE:

The Hours are from 7AM-12PM every Saturday: Naperville Farmer's Market – Naperville Farmer's Market – 5th Avenue Station

WHEATON:

The Wheaton French Market has fresh flowers, artisan foods, music, and much more! It’s open every Saturday 8AM-2PM.

SUNDAY

JULY 6

CAN’T MAKE IT TO ANY FIREWORK SHOWS ON THE FOURTH?

SLEEPY HALLOW WILL HAVE ONE ON SUNDAY.

THERE WILL BE ACTIVITES STARTING AT 7PM AND THE SHOW WILL BE AT 9:30PM

GENEVA: French Market will be on South St & S 4th St. every Sunday 9AM-2PM.

LAGRANGE:

McCook Rib Fest will be held Thursday to Sunday 2PM-10PM. There will be live music, carnival rides, and huge fireworks.
